Too many times we can feel helpless and out of
control. But we can turn to the One who is fully in control and perfectly able
to help in our times of need.
Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, a very
present help in trouble.”
Psalm 68:6
“God sets the solitary in families; He
brings out those who are bound into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a
dry land.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and
He shall direct your paths.”
Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek,
and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Hebrews 4:15-16
“For we do not have a High Priest who
cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are,
yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 13:5-6
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things
as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’
So we may boldly say: ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do
to me?”
